CALL FOR PAPERS
We seek manuscripts that address regulatory policy relating to accountancy issues including research based upon:
The editors welcome submission of original empirical, behavioral or applied research manuscripts that consider strategic and policy implications for regulation, regulatory model and markets. Material must be presented using format and language that facilitate communication to those who address policy issues. Methodological elaboration and technique should be supplied in appendices. Manuscripts are blind refereed by members of manuscript review panel with consultation of the editors. There is no submission fee. Information about our Review Process: Research in Accounting Regulation was first published in 1987 in a single volume hard cover format. As of 2009, the journal is published semi-annually in the periodical format. Submissions are processed in the order in which they are received without a Volume deadline. Please contact the editors if you have questions about this process. New Teaching Notes Section The editors are piloting a new section of RAR to support the TEACHING OF REGULATION and the application of Regulation Research into classes and seminars. Accordingly, we welcome submissions of teaching related research, commentaries, and instructional resources including cases. The Teaching Notes Section editorship will be featured as soon as appropriate processing of materials received and their review is accomplished.
